Student halls of residence (student digs)

Halls of residence are the norm for most freshers at UK universities.

They provide a great environment to meet people and a great atmosphere for living in - you can never get bored with almost 200 people in one big house!

Those wishing to get down to work can do so in their individual study rooms, and most universities supply communal areas where you can all have some fun!

Halls are generally cheap to live in as they include all bills and sometimes meals are provided - this will be discussed and confirmed when you receive your accommodation pack which you should do from whichever university you applied to.

They are safe places to live and in your first week of uni you will undoubtedly meet some friends for life.
