The recent Government White Paper proposes for 2004 the introduction of a new Higher Education Grant.
This grant of up to £1000 per year will be awarded to students from households with a family income of £15,200 or less. Some grant assistance will also be available to students whose families earn up to £21,185 per year.
Your LEA will assess your eligibility to receive this grant when they assess your tuition fee contribution status.
