Lloyds TSB, the high street bank are offering iPod shuffles as part of their student bank account incentives, Student-Finance can report.
Formed after the merger of Lloyds and TSB, Lloyds TSB, probably the third most popular student bank after HSBC and Natwest is finding an increased number of student account applications.
With every university student in the UK owning a mobile phone, MP3 player or laptop, its no wonder that Lloyds TSB is getting more student bank account applications than ever.
Lloyds TSB offer students overdrafts of £1,500 in the first year, followed by £1,750 in the second year and £2,000 in the third and fourth years. Medicine students can see their student overdrafts extended to over £2,000.
Lloyds TSB also offer student loans, graduate loans and graduate bank accounts. Lloyds TSB allow students to open student bank accounts online, although written confirmation will need to be sent back to the bank in order to confirm your identity.
