A new project, dubbed 'learn as you earn' is being led by the AA in partnership with Coventry University.
The aim of the project is to acknowledege and reward talent at work. By the time you complete several of these modules, noty only does one gain a qualification, adding to the recipients CV, but also points towards a degree qualification.
Just under 30 students enrolled at an AA call centre near Birmingham. This initiative was set up with Coventry University who supplied the AA with consultant Mr Birch.
Students have reportedbly enjoyed the experience, adding valuable assets to their resume, improving job prospects, as well as becoming instantly more employable. Several of the students questioned were even considering returning or going to university for the first time in order to study a degree based on the points they had already received.
